Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Owens Group is a fast-developing, multisite organisation with a large and diverse customer base, making this an exciting opportunity.
We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Representative.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (half-hour break deducted)
Start Times: To be discussed at interview
Salary: £27,500.00
Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
* Ensure customers are kept informed throughout their experience with Owens Road Service.
* Resolve discrepancies and enter data onto the Warehouse Management System.
* Manage customer accounts and maintain clear communication.
* Investigate and resolve complex or longstanding customer issues.
* Prioritize work to ensure accuracy and liaise with drivers and warehouse staff to confirm all tasks are completed and deliveries are accounted for.
* Keep accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers, ensuring all paperwork matches.
* Analyze data to determine customer service needs.
* Adhere to customer service policies and standards, ensuring data accuracy and system updates.
* Communicate courteously with customers via various channels.
* Provide advice and support regarding products or services.
* Create written information for customers using computer software.
* Develop and record feedback or complaints procedures.
* Build rapport with customers and colleagues to gather relevant information.
* Maintain professional relationships and phone etiquette.
* Provide accurate product and service information.
* Assist with order placements, modifications, and cancellations.
* Handle complaints professionally and resolve issues effectively.
* Upsell products and services where appropriate.
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (desirable).
* Experience in a similar customer service role.
* Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Adaptability and flexibility.
* Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
* Ability to analyze customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
* Experience in upselling techniques.
* Attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
* Friendly and approachable demeanor to foster positive relationships.
