The Housing Apprentice will play a key role in the support of the Private Sector Housing Team primarily within Wychavon and Malvern Hills Districts, as well as supporting the wider Housing Team, including the Housing Options and Strategy Teams. This apprenticeship role includes studying towards a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship qualification. The post holder will be expected to: Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, mail and electronicallyProgress cases, from application to final outcomes, alongside the collection of any additional required information from a range of sourcesKeep excellent records of customer contacts and outcomes while ensuring that information is recorded and shared within GDPR rulesSupport colleagues in the housing team with administrative work, updating case notes and creating case files for Officers.To help with the production of information available to the public such as leaflets, website information and social media posts. As you move through your training qualification, you will be able to progress risk assessments, undertake investigations, write reports and undertake enforcement action. You will be required to undertake site visits so flexibility, a full driving licence and use of a car is essential. You will also need to be able to travel throughout the Wychavon and Malvern Hills districts.
