Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker- Children's residential Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £35,741.33 per year Working Hours: Full-time; weekend availability required Number of Sleeps Required: 10/11 per month Shift Patterns: 2 on, 4 off Employment Type: Permanent Service: Children’s Home (SHB) Home Type: 5-bed SHB home, also supporting a 1-bed SHB home (same Registered Manager) Service Users: Males aged 8–18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Therapeutic Model: Therapeutic-led support delivered in partnership with GMAP (counselling for the children plus training and support for the staff team) Qualifications Required: Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare Experience Required: Experience leading staff teams within a residential childcare setting Driver Required: Yes, full UK Driving Licence The Home: This is a 5-bed SHB children’s home in Stoke-on-Trent, working closely alongside a 1-bed SHB service under the same Registered Manager. The service specialises in therapeutic support for boys aged 8–18 with EBD, with an embedded partnership approach through GMAP who provide direct counselling to the young people and ongoing support/training to the staff team.
