Welder / Fabricator / Fitter
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company in the East Midlands area. If you enjoy the variety of site-based projects, we have permanent opportunities to suit your skills. As a key member of the fabrication and production team, you’ll contribute to the manufacture of bespoke components and play an important role in delivering high-quality, specialist engineering projects.
Package:
* Hours: Days only
* Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum + overtime paid at enhanced rates
* Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out high-quality welding and fabrication across a range of materials
* Safely operate hand and power tools for fabrication tasks
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Fabricate and assemble components to ensure precision and accuracy
* Operating site-specific power tools and equipment
* Supporting pipework and equipment installation
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication or/and mechanical fitting
* Confident using hand and power tools
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work
* CSCS card
Desirable:
* Confined Spaces certification
* Coded welding qualifications
* Additional site-related qualifications (e.g. IPAF etc)
