We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pastoral Manager to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA).
The successful candidate will take a lead role in implementing the school's behaviour and attendance policies, work closely with students, parents/carers, and staff to develop a culture of excellence and accountability, and lead and line manage the Pastoral team to drive strategic intervention and routine.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring key student data across behaviour, attendance and progress to ensure effective support is in place
* Promoting student leadership and character development through assemblies, council involvement, and rewards
* Being a visible, proactive presence across the school day, including during transitions and social times
* Building meaningful relationships with students and families, responding to their needs with care and consistency
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent qualifications, have proven experience working in the 11-16 phase, and demonstrate a strong understanding of student development, behaviour strategies, and pastoral care.

This is a permanent full-time post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £28,507 and the full-time equivalent is £33,143 Grade 6.
