Are you ready to play a leading role in developing debt advice services across the UK? At MaPS, we seek a strategic professional to support high-quality, sustainable community-based debt advice funding. You will work with internal teams and external partners to innovate funding models, identify service gaps, and align delivery with national strategies and local needs. Building partnerships with local authorities, charities, and financial institutions is key. If you're passionate about service development and sector innovation, this role offers a chance to impact debt advice across the UK.


Job Description


Role Overview


Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting community-based debt advice commissioning
* Developing future funding opportunities
* Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
* Building capacity and strengthening partnerships in debt advice
* Cross-team collaboration and development


Person Specification

To excel, you should demonstrate:

* Understanding of funding strategy and commissioning in debt advice
* Knowledge of the debt advice sector, financial inclusion, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, MaPS standards)
* Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership skills
* Familiarity with digital and technological landscapes in debt advice
* Awareness of various service delivery models (face-to-face, digital, hybrid)
* Ability to analyze markets and sector trends
* Problem-solving and innovative skills for funding solutions and service accessibility
