Maths Teacher - SEMH Alternative Provision (Farnborough)
Prospero Teaching are working with a specialist SEMH Alternative Provision in Farnborough who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher for a September start. This role includes a TLR for Numeracy Lead, offering an excellent opportunity for a Maths specialist to take on additional responsibility within a supportive and impact-driven setting.
You will be joining a committed and experienced team focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, using relational, trauma-informed approaches to re-engage learners and support academic progress.
The provision is particularly interested in teachers who can deliver functional and engaging Maths lessons, adapt learning to meet individual needs, and help develop numeracy across the wider curriculum.
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students to achieve positive outcomes, contributing to whole-school numeracy strategy, and maintaining a calm, structured learning environment.

Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) + SEN allowance + TLR
Hours - School hours, plus meetings as requiredExperience, Training and Qualifications
QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary, SEND, or Alternative Provision setting (or a strong interest in SEMH)
Ability to differentiate and adapt Maths teaching for students working below age-related expectations
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (within the last year desirable)Eligibility
