The Role
Are you currently an Area/ Cluster Manager or an experienced General Manager looking to take the next step? We are looking to appoint an Area Manager Designate to support us with our sustained growth in the region.
As part of your training plan to become an Area Manager Designate, you will take on the role of a Hickory’s General Manager for a period of time to really get to know who we are and be guided through your development. When the time is right, you’ll take on another restaurant (or two!) and transisiton into the Area Manager Designate Role.

Essential requirements of a Hickory’s Area Manager Designate
- Previous experience in a similar role or as a General Manager within a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Be willing to take on the role of a Hickory’s General Manager before taking on the area role
- Strong passion for the industry and for guest satisfaction
- Ability to lead and inspire teams of up to 10 Managers and up to 150 Team Members in each restaurant
