We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers to join a high-quality residential care service supporting adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Senior Support Worker looking to develop their career in adult social care and supported living.
Responsibilities
* Deliver personal care in line with individual support plans
* Assist with daily living including bathing, dressing, meal prep
* Lead Support Workers and ensure safe, effective shift management
* Promote independence and support individuals to meet personal goals
* Uphold safeguarding standards and follow all policies
* Maintain accurate documentation and records
* Work collaboratively with families, professionals and the care team
* Support managers in ensuring high standards of care
Requirements
* Previous experience in residential care or supported living
* Experience leading teams in learning disability or complex needs services
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
* Flexible to work on a rolling rota including weekends and on-call
* Ideally a car driver
