Internal Sales Person
Hours of work: Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:00)
Ensinger Group Ltd is a UK market leader in the manufacture of semi-finished products and finished parts, complete assemblies and precision profiles from high performance plastics. Our name in quality allows Ensinger to work with a number of industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Formula 1.
In this role, you would be responsible for several key areas that all work together to support the company's sales efforts and daily operations. Here is a more detailed breakdown:
Retention of Existing Accounts
* Relationship Building: Proactively maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients by understanding their needs and consistently checking in to ensure satisfaction.
* Proactive Support: Address any concerns or issues quickly, follow up on client inquiries, and provide personalized assistance to foster loyalty.
* Client Engagement: Schedule regular account reviews to discuss performance, identify new opportunities, and demonstrate ongoing value.
Development of Accounts
* Identifying Growth Opportunities: Work with clients to recognize new or additional product and service needs, then recommend relevant solutions or upgrades.
* Upselling and Cross-Selling: Collaborate with internal teams to customize proposals and packages that align with the client's evolving goals, increasing overall account value.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term account strategies that anticipate market changes, maximise revenue, and build stronger client relationships.
Telephone Sales
* Inbound/Outbound Calls: Handle both incoming and outgoing sales calls—answering product questions, guiding customers through service options, and actively following up on leads.
* Record-Keeping & Follow-Up: Maintain accurate logs of all calls, capture relevant customer details, and schedule follow-up calls to nurture leads or address unresolved matters.
We are looking for candidates that have proven Business to Business Sales experience that has an eye for detail and can build long lasting relationships with customers.
Main Duties of the Role:
* Build and maintain exceptional relationships with customers.
* Provide quotations for materials and confidently negotiate pricing when necessary.
* Develop new opportunities with existing clients and reconnect with dormant accounts, by using quieter periods to reach out and reignite interest.
* Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries, delivering outstanding customer service.
* Follow up on all leads and quotations to secure future orders.
* Accurately process sales orders and ensure a seamless client experience from quote to delivery.
* Work closely with our Internal Sales and Warehouse staff (across branches and Head Office) to deliver top-notch service.
* Keep everyone in the loop by communicating order details, product specifications, and client needs.
* Help ensure materials and goods are supplied correctly and meet customer specifications.
* Consistently go the extra mile to ensure complete client satisfaction.
* Address any concerns quickly and effectively, showcasing your ability to thrive under pressure.
* Keep an eye on numbers accurate calculations and attention to detail will help you excel in this role.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* Proven experience within a proactive B2B sales role.
* Strong verbal, written and personal communication skills.
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs, or equivalent to 'C' grade or above (must include mathematics).
