Your new role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of multi‑skilled engineers responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy, advanced manufacturing site. You will ensure maintenance work is completed to a high standard, coach and support engineers, and coordinate all maintenance activity through SAP to ensure KPIs are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing and coaching maintenance teams, ensuring high levels of craftsmanship and accurate job reporting
Coordinating workload via SAP and monitoring maintenance KPIs
Managing equipment failure data and producing breakdown reports
Procuring spare parts and materials for work orders
Attending daily production meetings to prioritise activity
Writing and reviewing maintenance procedures and risk assessments
Carrying out full people-management responsibilitiesWhat you'll need to succeed
A 4‑year time‑served apprenticeship (mechanical bias preferred)
Mechanical engineering experience within a maintenance workshop environment
IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and develop engineering teams
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
Experience using SAP for maintenance management (desirable)What you'll get in return
