Product Quality Engineer – Must be UK passport holder - Security Clearance required
As a Product Quality Engineer, you will ensure that the final product observes the company's quality standards. As a detail-oriented professional, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes.
Main Duties:
1. Create, prepare, and implement the ITP and any associated and relevant directives, procedures and instructions needed to support the plan.
2. Develop and manage the quality control and quality assurance procedures and conformance reviews ensuring contract requirements are met.
3. Review enquiry documents and prepare summary QA/QC documentation as part of quotation submission.
4. Purchase text checking and amending to Requirements.
5. Prepare and maintain product specifications and process procedures, including monitoring approval records (Agility System).
6. Control of contract quality plans and monitor live QP’s for daily status.
7. Control of CAPA’s, ECR’s.
8. Control of Sub-Contract deliveries monitoring progress, compliance, and due dates.
9. Maintain and control of weld & welder qualifications where appropriate.
10. Ensure changes in specifications are reflected in accordance with Engineering Manager’s requirements.
11. Monitor and incorporate changes to QA compliance incorporating relevant design codes (ASME, API, etc.)
12. Provide quality support to Sales, Operations, Production Engineering, Manufacturing and Test.
13. Participate or lead quality improvement projects.
14. Participate in supplier and internal and external QA audit activity.
15. Check material certification against material standards.
16. Approve suppliers ITP’s and procedures.

1. Significant experience within Product Quality.
2. Mechanical Specifications Knowledge.
3. Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
4. Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
5. UK Passport Holder.
6. PCN/SNT Knowledge.
7. A Full Driving Licence.
