This CNC Turner role is with a well-established precision engineering company specialising in one-off and small batch components across a wide range of materials. They are now looking to add an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Setter / Operator to their team. CNC Turner Hours and Pay * £33,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience * 39 hours per week: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Thursday, 2:30pm on Friday’s (with some flexibility) This role is commutable From: Swadlincote, Burton on Trent, Ashby de la Zouch, Derby, Rugeley The Role * The CNC Turner will be fully involved in the machining process, including: * Programming, setting and operating Haas CNC lathes - ST40 & ST30 (other machine experience will be considered) * Working directly from engineering drawings * Machining one-off and small batch components to tight tolerances * Producing parts in steel, stainless steel, aluminium and plastics * Taking responsibility for quality from material receipt to finished component * Selecting tooling, offsets, speeds and feeds to suit each job What We’re Looking For * Strong CNC Turner experience * Confident lathe progra...
