About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Note: This role is part-time, 21 hours/week, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Responsibilities
* Planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents
* Helping the Home Manager organise fundraising events
* Encouraging Residents to socialise more effectively
* Developing activity ideas based on Residents' hobbies
* Involving the care home team in activities
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning and organisational skills, and kindness are essential. Good IT skills and effective time management are also important. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues. Safeguarding awareness is crucial, including recognising signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and knowing how to report concerns.
