Overview of Role

At Bio&Me, we are obsessed about two things. Giving our lovely consumers the very best granolas, porridges, kefir yoghurts and kefir drinks for their gut health – that also taste delicious. And then, listening to their feedback really hard – to relentlessly improve everything we do. This role is therefore at the heartbeat of our operations, as your primary responsibilities will be to:

* Customer Service: Answer every consumer comment and query that we get every day. Really quickly. Emails. Socials. Phone calls. All of them. In a lovely, human way. No AI-only annoying messages here, please. And then feedback to the team what our consumers are saying. In a helpful way. The good and the bad.
* Quality: Organise weekly product tastings of every product that we have made that week. For our team to taste and critique versus our very high standards. In addition to this, you will work with the Technical & Quality Manager to support them on key projects, over time.

On top of these two main tasks, you will also work with the CEO on some ad hoc projects. These will change regularly. But might include organising Team Days, Training, Samples and other such activities.

You

You will be a recent graduate, ideally having worked in food and drink for a year or two. And will have a keen interest in good food and nutrition. If your degree happened to be in that area, it would be an advantage.

Most crucially, you will enjoy talking with people. On email. On socials. On the phone. You will understand that people can be lovely – as well as ‘key board warriors’. But your nature will be to treat them all nicely and fairly.

You will also be very organised. You will enjoy having projects with clear and stretching deadlines.

You will have a degree to a 2:1 standard. We are a fast growing company, so hopefully you will grow with us.

Us

We are based in Chester City Centre, which is where your role is. Whilst we support flexible elements, you’ll be based here 5 days a week. As someone who is at the heart of the business, we think it’s crucial you are in and around the team everyday. It is also more fun and social that way!

You manager will be the Technical & Quality Manager. You will also have ‘dotted line’ reports into the Marketing Director, for consumer queries, and the CEO, for special projects.

Salary and Benefits

£25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience. Like every team member, you will also receive share options as we want every team member to be a shareholder. And a 10% annual bonus based on results.
