We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists on a full or part-time basis. You’ll work alongside a skilled and dedicated group of specialists, emergency surgeons, and support staff who are committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. The ophthalmology department is supported by two dedicated ophthalmology nurses, ensuring you have the clinical support needed to provide excellent patient care. Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is part of the IVC Evidensia group, offering the benefits of a larger network while maintaining a local, close-knit feel.
What We’re Looking For
We encourage applications from candidates who are RCVS, American, or European Boarded Diplomates or those who are residency trained, as well as individuals with Cert AVP status. You will have prior experience working in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital.
Responsibilities
* Provide ophthalmology services in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital setting within a supportive team.
* Collaborate with a team of specialists, emergency surgeons, and veterinary nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Contribute to the growth and direction of the ophthalmology department and practice.
Location
Ringwood, Hampshire, United Kingdom (New Forest National Park area). Nestled in the heart of the New Forest, Ringwood offers countryside charm with modern conveniences and easy access to Southampton and Bournemouth.
