Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join us as a Learning Support Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to learning difficulties, disabilities, or other barriers to learning, providing essential assistance to help them succeed in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Assist students with their academic work, helping them to understand concepts and complete tasks
* Implement strategies and interventions to support students' learning and development
* Support students with their social and emotional well-being, promoting positive behavior and interactions
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to assess student needs and implement tailored support plans
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, or a related field
* Previous experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities preferred
* Knowledge of different learning support strategies and interventions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students' learning and development
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
