Overview
We are recruiting for a New-born Hearing Screener/Senior Screener who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
A key part of this role is to work with the Local Co-Ordinator to ensure the delivery of the New-born Hearing Screening Programme (NHSP) within the timeframes in hospital and community settings and to identify which babies require screening.

Responsibilities
* The New-born Screening Hearing Screener will liaise effectively with parents, team members and other health care professionals.
* The successful candidate will carry out the screening of new-borns within the maternity unit and accurately record clinical and test data.
* You will promote a professional, welcoming and caring environment endorsing a Family Friendly approach to care at all times.
* The post holder will ensure they maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and policies relevant to this post.
* You will also maintain the confidentiality of the babies and their families at all times.
