We are looking to recruit a Primary Janitor to join our Facilities team based in St Paul\'s Primary School, Whitehill, Hamilton.

* Location: St Paul\'s Primary School, Backmuir Road, Whitehill, Hamilton, ML3 0PX
* Hours: 41.5 hours per week inclusive of 3 hours covering lets
* Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm
* Hourly Rate: £14.02 - £14.33 per hour
* Vacancy: Permanent

Responsibilities
* Carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc.
* Prepare documentation related to the Janitorial and Cleaning function within the premises.
* Monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulations and report any issues to management.
* Communicate effectively with the Facilities Manager, Head of Establishment/Lessee’s and Team Members to ensure customer needs are met daily.
* Log, monitor and report all damage/faults related to fabric and fixtures.
* Liaise with external contractors and lessees, ensuring Health and Safety and security procedures are adhered to.
* Monitor activities of lessees and contractors and report issues to the line manager.
* Ensure the unit grounds are kept safe and tidy, free from dangerous articles, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.
