Overview
Providing engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching, adapting to a range of learning styles, and differentiating delivery to learners with mixed abilities to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding. As a Sessional Tutor, you will deliver high quality teaching and learning to a group of learners on courses that are non-accredited, with potential to move to accredited as the year progresses.
Salary: £28.92 per hour (plus teachers' pension and agile working opportunities). Based in South Yorkshire, with travel to various venues in your area. This is not a full time, permanent role.

Responsibilities and Expectations
* Provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach, adapting to a range of learning styles and differentiating delivery to learners with mixed abilities.
* Design and implement innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Use a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
* Apply RARPA as well as the EIF and the quality processes that underpin delivery.
* Support adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
* Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework.
* Collaborate effectively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive working environment.
* Demonstrate a passion for adult education and making a difference.
Qualifications
* Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent), with level 5 specialism; IQA and Assessor qualifications are advantageous.
* Experience in designing and delivering innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Experience with a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
* Understanding of RARPA and related quality processes.
* Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face barriers to education.
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework.
* A strong team work ethic and a collaborative approach.
* A passion for adult education and making a difference.
