We're seeking an outstanding Care Assistant to join us at either Muirfield in Gullane or Fidra House in North Berwick. We offer permanent full-time, part-time, or bank positions.

Job Purpose:
Provide professional care to residents, demonstrate leadership, adhere to NMC's code, and support the Home Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
Promote high standards of care
Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and choices
Maintain a safe environment
Follow SSSC Code of Conduct
Set a professional example
Report injuries, diseases, or hazards
Keep accurate records
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
At least 1 year of care experience in elderly care settings; student nurses welcomed
Consideration for those without experience if motivated
SVQ 3 and leadership experience for Principal Carer roles
Knowledge of dementia and clinical support
Good time management and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
