About The Company:A recent acquisition by a large construction and facilities management company, this SME business is now looking to further grow and expand.The Role:We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our client and lead a small but dedicated team of professionals. Reporting into the new CFO, you will lead on all finance matters.Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Control & Project Accounting: Monitor job costing, track project budgets vs. actuals, and analyse margins to ensure financial efficiency across projects.
* Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Oversee daily cash flow, manage supplier payments and client invoicing cycles to ensure healthy liquidity and support operational continuity.
* Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and industry-specific financial requirements, while producing timely management accounts and statutory reports.
* Financial Strategy & Business Support: Partner with operations and procurement teams to provide financial insights, support pricing decisions, and drive cost-saving initiatives in line with business growth.
Desirable Skills:
* Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
* Experience in budgeting & forecasting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective Communication & Stakeholder Management
