What the Job Involves The Fleet Service Advisor provides essential front-office support for high-quality fleet repairs for the Council and customer vehicle fleets and equipment. This involves ensuring accurate records of vehicle and equipment assets, managing scheduling for inspections, services, and MOT appointments. You will serve as the first point of contact for workshop customer and supplier queries and are responsible for parts invoice reconciliation and customer invoicing. You will liaise with external service providers to ensure the alignment of MOT and service bookings and support the Fleet Engineering Manager and workshop supervisor to meet service standards and SLAs. Skills Substantial experience in a fleet/workshop environment Experience with fleet/workshop database and record maintenance IT competence, especially in workshop systems Experience in a commercial vehicle environment Proven experience in developing quality systems Experience dealing with external suppliers Effective communication skills Knowledge of vehicle workshop procedures and IT systems
