People Process Lead
📍 Remote | 🕒 6-month initial contract
We’re looking for an experienced People Process Lead to own, design, and continuously improve our end-to-end people processes across the full colleague lifecycle.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our HR operations are efficient, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business strategy. Sitting at the intersection of HR and Operations, you’ll act as a trusted partner, process expert, and change leader—driving transformation and delivering a consistent, high-quality employee experience.
The Role
As People Process Lead, you will take ownership of hire-to-retire processes, ensuring they are streamlined, well-governed, and fit for purpose across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with HR, operational teams, and senior stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, standardise ways of working, and implement improvements that enhance both business outcomes and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Optimisation
* Own and evolve end-to-end people processes across the colleague lifecycle
* Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and risk areas, implementing improvements and automation where appropriate
* Ensure processes are efficient, compliant, and employee-centric
Process Design & Documentation
* Create and maintain clear process documentation using Visio or similar tools
* Develop:
* End-to-end journey maps
* Swimlane diagrams
* Ensure documentation supports governance, training, and consistency across teams
Lifecycle Expertise
* Map and optimise key lifecycle stages, including:
* Recruitment & onboarding
* Performance & development
* Internal mobility
* Offboarding
* Continuously improve processes to reduce friction and improve colleague experience
Stakeholder & Business Alignment
* Partner with HR, Operations, and leadership teams to align people processes with business strategy
* Act as a bridge between policy, process, and operational delivery
* Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new ways of working
Transformation & Change
* Lead or support process transformation initiatives
* Apply structured delivery approaches (Agile, Waterfall, Lean/Six Sigma)
* Manage stakeholders, risks, and dependencies across initiatives
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
* Use data, feedback, and process reviews to identify improvement opportunities
* Apply continuous improvement principles (e.g. Lean thinking)
* Present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in HR operations, people processes, or transformation roles
* Strong expertise in process mapping, optimisation, and continuous improvement
* Experience working across HR and operational teams in complex environments
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
Desirable Experience
* Experience in global or multi-country organisations
* Understanding of regional HR practices, labour laws, and cultural considerations
* Experience adapting processes to maintain global consistency while meeting local requirements
* Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
