* Job Title: SENCO
* Location: Hackney (close to Kings Cross, Islington)
* Contract: Full:time, fixed:term (September 2025 : July 2026)
* Salary: GBP46,338 : GBP60,464 (depending on experience)
* Ofsted rating: Outstanding : praised for its inclusive culture and leadership
SENCO : Role Overview
* Take full responsibility for SEND strategy and provision across the school
* Lead on EHCPs, interventions, and staff training related to SEN
* Work closely with senior leaders and external agencies
* Support class teachers in adapting teaching for pupils with additional needs
* Drive a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all learners as SENCO
SENCO : Candidate Profile
* Must hold a NASENCO qualification
* Prior experience as a SENCO or significant experience in SEND leadership
* Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory frameworks
* Passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with special educational needs
* Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
