Business Intelligence Lead
London | Hybrid | 3 days in the office
c.£70k - 75k + bonus
I’m working on a Business Intelligence Lead role with a growing London-based business.
This is a hands-on BI leadership role in a small team and would suit a senior analyst with mentor experience looking for a step up, with a roughly 70/30 split between delivery and management. It would suit someone who enjoys building, leading workstreams and working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end BI and reporting delivery
* Manage and develop a small BI team
* Translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions
* Own BI workstreams from requirements through to deployment
* Build dashboards, reporting and data models
* Help shape the BI roadmap, including future analytics and AI capability
* Work closely with stakeholders across the business
* Improve reporting capability, data quality and user adoption
Background and skills needed
* Experience in a hands-on BI leadership or mentoring role
* Strong Power BI, SQL / T-SQL and Microsoft Fabric experience
* Good background in data warehousing and Star Schema modelling
* Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills
* Experience leading or mentoring analysts / developers
* Comfortable balancing delivery with team and workstream leadership
* Commercial, proactive and able to work at pace
* Python helpful but not essential
