MH/LD Clinical Lead – Supported Living |West London
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid (approx. 2 days home-based / 3 days community)
Location: West London (regional travel required)
Mileage: Paid at 45p per mile (no car allowance)
Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MH/LD Clinical Lead (RMN / RNLD) to join a growing supported living provider in West London.
This is a senior clinical leadership role overseeing supported living services for adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, including behaviours that challenge. The role combines clinical governance, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement, with no heavy operational or rota management.
Key Responsibilities As MH/LD Clinical Lead, you will:
Provide clinical leadership across complex MH/LD supported living packages
Lead on clinical governance, including incidents, safeguarding, RCA investigations and CQC readiness
Complete holistic, functional and risk assessments
Develop and review PBS-led, recovery-focused, person-centred care plans
Support and mentor nurses and support staff through supervision, reflective practice and competency sign-off
Act as the clinical liaison with ICBs, commissioners, CHC teams, local authorities and MDTs
Monitor quality, outcomes and KPIs, driving continuous service improvement
Support crisis planning, escalation pathways and risk reduction strategies
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this MH/LD Clinical Lead role, you must have:
Active NMC registration (RMN and/or RNLD)
Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience
Strong background in mental health and/or learning disability services
Proven experience managing complex needs and behaviours that challenge
Solid understanding of PBS, de-escalation, risk management and safeguarding
Experience working with commissioners and multi-disciplinary teams
Full UK driving licence (essential)
