We have an exciting opportunity for an actuary to join our With Profits Management Team to help transform our management of with-profits business and improve customer outcomes. Phoenix is the second-largest provider of with-profits business in the UK, managing 22 funds.

The role
You will support a major change program aimed at improving how we manage our with-profits funds, including winding up or merging funds, simplifying payout processes, and harmonizing methodologies across our 22 funds. Responsibilities include developing proposals, assessing their impact on customer outcomes, ensuring fairness, and preparing reports for senior management, governance committees, boards, and regulators. You will also communicate technical matters clearly to non-technical audiences.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified actuary with relevant post-qualification experience in with-profits management or reporting
* Experience in actuarial projects that deliver change, managing internal and external stakeholders
* Strong time-management, planning, and stakeholder management skills
* Research and investigative skills across financial and commercial issues
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences
