Hope Against Suicide is a Bristol-based charity providing crucial support to those suffering a mental health crisis. We are looking for new trustees who can bring fresh skills and perspectives to help shape our strategy as we enter our next phase.

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in any of the following areas
* Treasury and Financial Management – We are seeking someone with strong financial skills to become Treasurer Trustee.
* Business Development & Fundraising – Experience in income generation, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
* Safeguarding – Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and young people to ensure our services are delivered safely and responsibly.
* Risk, Compliance & Legal – Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks, regulatory compliance, contracts, and charity law.
* Human Resources – Experience in recruitment, staff and volunteer management, and workplace policies.
* Marketing & PR – Skills in brand development, media relations, and digital marketing to help raise our profile and communicate our impact.

* Attend and actively participate in Board meetings (held in Bristol).
* Contribute to strategic decision-making and governance.

* Act as an ambassador at events.
* Support fundraising efforts.
* Step in on operational matters as the need arises.
