We champion hybrid working at Aviva (typically three days in the office and two days from home), so you’ll need to live within commuting distance of the office where your chosen role is based. You’ll get the benefit of spending time with colleagues in real life as well as gaining more work-life balance. Software Engineer (Bristol or Norwich): You’ll help develop software solutions and maintain and enhance applications that support our business and colleagues. Collaborating in agile teams, you’ll develop high-quality solutions that meet real needs. It’s challenging and rewarding, and you’ll be supported every step of the way by our expert tech community as you grow your skills and confidence. Data Engineer (Bristol or Norwich): You’ll build tools and systems that collect, organise and prepare raw data to enable useful insights, helping teams make smarter decisions. You’ll work with different data types, learn new tools and languages, and make sure information is accurate, secure and accessible. It’s a brilliant role for curious minds who enjoy detail and want to develop in a supportive environment. Test Engineer (Norwich or York): You’ll help ensure our software is secure, reliable and working properly. You’ll learn to use test automation tools, apply best practices, and explore behaviour-driven development practices. With support from your team, you’ll build confidence and skills in problem-solving, testing and collaboration, making sure our customers and colleagues enjoy smooth, stress-free experiences.
