JOB- Account Manager
LOCATION- Croydon
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Premier Engineering is working with a specialist engineering company based in Croydon operating within the nuclear and defence sectors. They are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to maintain and grow strategic customer relationships and ensure successful delivery of key projects.
The Account Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
* Proven experience in Account Management or Sales within engineering, defence, or nuclear industries
* Excellent understanding of project delivery and customer relationship management
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage contract negotiations
* Background in a technical or engineering environment
* Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a wider commercial and project team
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites when required
The Account Manager role will involve:
* Managing key client accounts across the nuclear and defence sectors
* Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and building long-term relationships
* Working closely with engineering and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met
* Identifying opportunities for growth and upselling solutions
* Preparing proposals, quotations, and commercial documents
* Attending client meetings, reviews, and industry events
* Monitoring project delivery, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
