Modality Sales Specialist - Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions (South West UK)
Job Description: In this role as Modality Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of the overall portfolio of Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions (DCS), and you will develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plans. You provide support across the wider Ambulatory Monitoring Device (AMD) portfolio where required.
Responsibilities
* Commercial execution of the DCS Portfolio in the UK, driving growth and collaborating with relevant Account Managers.
* Sales of the DCS Portfolio, working with District teams to achieve annual targets, both Order Intake and Sales.
* Understand the diagnostic ECG landscape, through analysis of competition, customer needs, trends, technological innovation and reimbursement.
* Work collaboratively within a team of Modality Sales Specialists (MSS) for H&AM.
* Act as subject matter expert to support the broader Sales team with DCS insights; participate in DCS Launch team and localise marketing assets with UK and European teams.
* Represent the Zone UKI in the Europe market for DCS, ensuring Europe BMC plans incorporate UK requirements to achieve annual KPIs.
* Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans, identifying new business opportunities and capturing, assessing and acting on win/loss analysis.
* Align on local pricing and support Commercial Policy escalations.
* Collaborate with Philips Capability Centre (PCC) to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
* Support large strategic deals in the UK (strategic accounts, LSP opportunities), working with District teams.
* Support strategic activities with Framework contacts (NHS Supply Chain, other important frameworks).
* Work from home with an expectation of travelling up to 60% to meet customers in South West UK.
Qualifications
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
* Clinical background with keen interest in Cardiology, familiar with patient monitoring (e.g., Nurse, ODP).
* Excellent communicator, able to build rapport and develop key stakeholder relationships.
* Thrives when working towards sales targets.
* High energy, enthusiasm, highly driven; team player committed to collaboration.
* Customer‑driven and energized by face‑to‑face interactions.
Work Setting
This role is a field role, with expectation of travelling up to 60% of the time; employees may work from home. Standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required.
