1. NQ-4 PQE
2. Market-leading hybrid policy – work from home four days per week
3. Excellent employee retention rate
4. National, Legal 500 firm
A national law firm is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join its Legal 500 team at its Manchester office and enjoy one of the most flexible careers on the market.
That’s because you’ll have access to one of the most generous hybrid policies on the market, giving you the ability to work from home four days per week (this is far above the market average of two days).
The salary is top-of-market, and you’ll also get an enhanced annual leave entitlement, a holiday buy/sell scheme and an additional two days off per year to take part in charity work, a health cash plan, and access to lots of initiatives to support your physical and mental wellbeing.
In the role, you’ll handle your own caseload of around 40 files, made up of property and finance Court of Protection work stemming from the firm’s successful clinical negligence team. You’ll work directly with a Director of Trust, another solicitor and a paralegal, which in turn work within a wider team of experts.
We think this client is a bit of a gem – because it has all the perks of a national, with the heart of a regional. Its commitment to people over profits is demonstrated by the fact that team members stay for an average of six years – which is well above the industry average.
You’ll join a real team here, where everyone has your back. The firm encourages a close-knit culture through its peer-to-peer appreciation schemes, such as colleague-nominated cash rewards and gifts of up to £1000. You’ll also get the opportunity to take two full paid volunteering days to support causes close to your heart and give back to the community.
