The Role
You'll design and build automation frameworks, work closely with developers to integrate testing into CI/CD, and champion quality engineering across the product lifecycle. With tools like Playwright, Cypress, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, this role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills who wants to own the test automation strategy.
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright / Cypress
* Develop automated tests in TypeScript / JavaScript
* Collaborate with developers to embed testing within CI/CD pipelines
* Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
* Ensure tests are reliable, scalable, and provide fast feedback
* Track and report quality metrics to stakeholders
* Contribute to defining quality standards and best practices across the team
* Investigate and resolve test failures, ensuring stability of releases
What you bring to the team
* Strong experience with automation frameworks (Playwright / Cypress preferred)
* Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
* Foundation knowledge in ISTQB or equivalent
* Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of testing methodologies (TDD/BDD)
* Passion for quality and continuous improvement
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
