Abatec is recruiting for a permanent SHEQ Advisor to join their client, a leading contractor within the water and infrastructure sector, delivering complex design-and-build projects across multiple long-term frameworks. This site-based role is located at a major project in Bournemouth and will report directly to the Regional SHEQ Manager. You will play a key part in supporting the SHEQ function and embedding best-practice standards across the project delivery lifecycle.
As SHEQ Advisor you will:
* Understand and apply the company’s approach to managing SHEQ risk, driving best-in-class performance.
* Monitor and review corrective actions to ensure clear, effective improvements.
* Organise, support and contribute to SHEQ assurance audits.
* Conduct and/or support accident and incident investigations.
* Integrate with project teams to understand daily operational challenges.

Our client is looking for a SHEQ Advisor with:
* Proven experience working as part of a SHEQ team
* Ability to collect, analyse and interpret large volumes of data with accuracy
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging at all levels
* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
Salary/Benefits:
* Salary up to £40,000 - £50,000
