The Security Operations Manager - Derby reports directly to the Head of Security and is responsible for managing the daily security operations of the Raynesway site.
What you will be doing:
* Manage and lead the Rolls-Royce Site Operational Security Team, ensuring all security work instructions and local operating instructions are current and effective.
* Develop and maintain operational security standards and procedures for the Nuclear Licensed Sites in line with JSP 440.
* Coordinate training and familiarisation with the Site Operational Security Team to ensure security arrangements and contingency plans are effective for incident response.
* Support planning, coordination, and execution of site security exercises; manage compliance with GovS 007 Security policy.
* Lead investigations of security breaches and incidents; maintain records and reports; oversee Site Security Supervisors.
* Maintain the Site Security Plan, Company Security Manual, and Security Risk Register; manage the site-wide Security Management System, including satellite locations.
* Build relationships with external organisations such as MOD Police, MOD Principal Security Advisor, NPSA, Local Emergency Services, and Counter Terrorist Security Advisors.
* Deliver Security Education Briefings.
* Stay informed about changes in government and company guidance or legislation affecting security procedures.
* Act as the lead security manager during site security incidents or emergencies.

* Extensive experience in people leadership.
* Deep knowledge of MoD Security Policy.
* Experience working with Government security organisations.
* Proven experience in security operations and incident response, compliant with NPSA standards for critical national infrastructure.
* Extensive knowledge of security controls related to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plant.
