The opportunity
As a senior consultant in Life Sciences at EY you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. This could involve advising clients on strategy, business process, technology solutions and digital transformation.
Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications
Your key responsibilities may include:
* Client Advisory: Providing strategic advice to clients in the life sciences sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and healthcare organisations, to help them navigate complex challenges.
* Project Management: Execution of consulting projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the life sciences industry.
* Operational Improvement: Identifying areas for operational efficiency and effectiveness, and recommending solutions to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve outcomes.
* Data Analytics: Utilizing data analytics to derive insights for clients to support decision‑making.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Communicating results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders, through presentations, reports, and workshops.
* Team Leadership and Development: Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance team environment.
* Business Development: Supporting business development efforts preparing or contributing towards proposals, and participating in client pitches.
* Innovation and Digital Transformation: Advising clients on the adoption of new technologies and digital solutions.
* Community building: Contributing to the EY community, for example by helping to organise community or team events, contributing to newsletters or development activities.
To qualify for the role, you must have
* Experience at a consulting/professional services company, system integrator, or industry environment.
* Proven experience in delivering projects in Life Sciences (such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and healthcare organisations).
* Subject matter expertise in delivering in 1-2 areas of technology passion such as digital transformation, data and analytics or other technology enabled business areas.
* Hands on experience with day-to-day line and task management of junior talent.
* Confidence to facilitate meetings with clients, management, and individual contributors.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* Hands on experience of delivering work within a transformation programme.
* Experience of utilising AI tooling to support delivery.
* Evidence of AI learning and knowledge development.
