About the Role Interior Design Project Manager job in Birmingham with a global interior design consultancy delivering nationwide hospitality refurbishment schemes. Based in Birmingham within the hospitality sector, this permanent role requires a project manager with at least five years experience in hospitality, leisure or retail fit-out. You will oversee around 15 pub remodel projects annually, focusing on site coordination, contract administration and statutory compliance rather than creative design. The role involves national travel and full responsibility for programme, budget and Building Regulations performance.
Key Responsibilities Lead multiple hospitality refurbishment projects annually Act as primary client contact for delivery Chair contractor and consultant site meetings Administer contracts, variations and instructions Monitor programme, cost and quality performance Oversee Building Regulations and CDM compliance
Required Skills and Experience Minimum five years site-based project management experience Hospitality, leisure or retail fit-out background Strong contract administration knowledge Understanding of Building Safety Act duties Ability to review AutoCAD drawing packages Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
