A new service based in Narre Warren is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 35.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours are as follows: Monday – Friday, 06:45 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:45 – 06:15 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 4 additional admin hours.
In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
1. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
2. Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
3. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
4. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Narre Warren, this new service would see you embedded in a supportive and nurturing school environment. With small groups, you would be able to engage closely with all students and plan creative tasks. They have a permanent dedicated space to cater to the 10 - 15 OSHC attendees. Your enthusiasm for engaging activities and behaviour management skills will be highly valued.
