About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality commercial fit-out project in London valuing upto 20 million. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for site management, programme delivery, health & safety, and coordination of subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities as a Construction Manager
* Manage day-to-day site operations for a commercial fit-out project
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
* Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and specifications
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and welfare on site
* Liaise with the client, design team, and project managers
* Monitor quality control and manage snagging through to handover
* Report progress, risks, and issues to senior management
* Ensure compliance with UK construction regulations and company procedures
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Construction Manager on commercial fit-out projects
* experiance on both Cat A & Cat B projects with cut and carve elements
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and finishes
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
* Ability to work under pressure and manage tight programmes
* Strong understanding of health & safety legislation
* London project experience preferred
