Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known client based in the London area, who are looking for a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities - Building Surveyor
* Carrying out property inspections and condition surveys on residential and commercial buildings
* Identifying defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirements
* Preparing survey reports with findings and recommendations
* Managing planned and reactive maintenance works
* Overseeing contractors on site and monitoring quality of work
* Ensuring works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
* Assisting with damp and mould investigations and remedial solutions
* Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates
* Liaising with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departments
* Supporting refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projects
* Monitoring budgets and ensuring value for money on projects
* Keeping accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
* Conducting post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standard
* Ensuring buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirements
* Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and residents
