Job Opportunity: Lead Chaplain
We are seeking a compassionate leader to join our team of highly skilled chaplains. This team ensures the provision of appropriate spiritual, pastoral, and religious care to patients, their families, and staff across hospitals in Northumberland and North Tyneside.
The successful candidate will:
1. Manage a trust-wide Chaplaincy Service, delivering spiritual, pastoral, and religious care.
2. Provide day-to-day leadership to a team of paid and volunteer chaplains across various hospital sites.
3. Maintain endorsement to practice as a healthcare chaplain, authorized by an appropriate faith or belief group.
4. Work closely with managers, service leads, and clinicians.
5. Handle financial management to ensure departmental budgets are maintained.
