Overview
CW: Cover Supervisor role at WMJobs, Birmingham, United Kingdom. We are seeking to appoint a cover supervisor who can cover colleagues’ absence within the lesson across the whole academy curriculum. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills due to regular contact with parents, carers, colleagues, learners, and the local community. The role requires creating an orderly and purposeful environment in which learners can complete the work set.
Responsibilities
* Cover colleagues’ absence within lessons across the full curriculum.
* Maintain an orderly and purposeful learning environment so that students can complete set work.
* Demonstrate the ability to work flexibly, prioritise workload, and remain calm under pressure.
* Uphold a professional, friendly manner at all times and promote safeguarding awareness where appropriate.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience in a similar cover supervisor or teaching support role with a good level of experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for interaction with parents, carers, colleagues, learners, and the local community.
* Desirable safeguarding training or knowledge of child safeguarding and protection procedures; full training will be provided if not already completed.
* Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workload; able to work calmly under pressure.
