Accounts Assistant Why join our client Core3 is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our client, a well-established professional services organisation with a strong reputation for quality, trust and consistent growth. How you'll make an impact As Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team with the accurate processing of financial transactions and help maintain strong financial controls. Process daily payments and receipts, ensuring accurate posting to the ledger Support accounts payable by processing purchase invoices and preparing supplier payments Assist with billing activity and ensure cases are invoiced correctly Manage payments to clients and third parties while maintaining accurate records Investigate and resolve outstanding or residual balances on accounts Respond to finance queries from operational teams across the business Maintain accurate documentation and ensure transactions meet compliance requirements Assist with month-end tasks, including reconciliations and reporting support Help improve finance processes and support the smooth running of the finance function Why you're a great fit At least 2 years' experience in a finance, accounts or transactional role Strong understanding of accounts payable, payments processing and ledger accounting Experience handling financial transactions with a high level of accuracy Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment with deadlines Confident communicator able to work with different teams across a business You'll bring a proactive mindset, a positive approach to teamwork and a commitment to maintaining high standards in financial processes.
