Responsibilities
* Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards
* Working with customers, families, advocates and staff to ensure a high standard of services
* Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, communal areas and customers' flats
* Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
* Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes, Sanctuary Group encourages and welcomes applications from people from diverse backgrounds to support our commitment to offering an inclusive environment for our employees and customers.
We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application which we will pay for. Sanctuary Supported Living is a trading name of Sanctuary Housing Association and Sanctuary Home Care Limited, both exempt charities.
Qualifications
* Some experience of working in a catering/hospitality environment is desirable
* Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
* Good interpersonal and customer service skills
* A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
* NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering, or willing to work towards
