Lettings Property Manager (Residential)
Whittlesey (Office Based)
£32,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays (Time off in lieu)
An established, independent estate and lettings agency covering the Peterborough and Whittlesey area is seeking an experienced Lettings Property Manager to join their closeknit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive Property Manager who enjoys autonomy, takes ownership of their portfolio, and thrives in a busy but manageable environment.

• Residential sales, lettings & professional property management
• Approx. 200 properties under management
• Small, supportive team environment
The Role
You will manage your own portfolio of approximately 200 residential properties, overseeingthe full tenancy lifecycle while supervising a Lettings Administrator.
This is a property management focused role with no requirement for new business generation
.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing tenancies from move-in to check-out
• Overseeing rent payments and landlord accounting
• Property maintenance coordination
• Conducting property inspections
• Compliance management and legal adherence
• Annual rent reviews in line with market value
• AST renewals
• Deposit registration, re-registration and unprotecting
• Managing check-outs and deposit disputes
• Rent guarantee administration
• Handling tenant viewing enquiries
• Producing detailed inventories
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Lettings Property Manager who:
• Has strong knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance
• Is confident handling deposit disputes and AST renewals
• Has experience with rent reviews and landlord communication
• Comes from a lettings administration or property management background
• Is proactive, organised and detail-oriented
• Can confidently oversee a Lettings Administrator
• Holds a full UK driving licence.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being trusted to run their portfolio and wants to work within a stable, independent business.
