The Role

Power NI, part of Energia Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Collections Specialist based in Belfast.

We have exciting opportunities for skilled specialists to join our award‑winning teams. As a Customer Collections Specialist, you’ll work within a high‑performing team to support domestic customers who are experiencing difficulties paying their energy bills. You’ll negotiate tailored repayment options, and deliver empathetic, solution‑focused support.

This is a fast‑paced, customer‑centric role involving:

* Proactive engagement via inbound and outbound calls.
* Listening actively and acknowledging customer concerns.
* Offering suitable solutions and setting clear expectations.
* Collaborating with internal teams and third‑party agencies.
* Supporting vulnerable customers in line with regulatory requirements.

We’re looking for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrate resilience and empathy, and are passionate about helping customers.


What youll need

* Experience handling difficult conversations in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
* Strong resilience, empathy, and adaptability.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and multi‑channel communications.
