National Key Account Manager – Haematology Rare Disease
IQVIA is seeking a Key Account Manager with experience in rare diseases, specifically in haematology.
This is a national role, providing full autonomy across the UK to drive sales and meet targets. It's a great opportunity to showcase your skills, gain recognition, and promote product usage to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
The main duties include:
* Promoting our client’s rare haematology disease product to designated customers to meet objectives, requiring deep therapy area and brand knowledge.
* Building relationships with secondary care customers to gain product endorsement, advocacy, and achieve sales targets.
* Developing relationships with key opinion leaders.
* Prioritising activities across multiple accounts within a large geographical area.
* Sharing local business and market insights with the client and cross-functional teams.
* Developing and executing effective business account plans for the product.
Qualifications
* ABPI qualification.
* ‘A’ Level or ‘Higher’ in science subjects; a Life Science Degree is preferred.
* Experience in haematology and/or rare disease haematology is essential.
* Good understanding of secondary care, NHS structures, and relevant customer types.
* Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent selling, influencing, and commercial skills.
* Project management or leadership experience is a plus.
