We are currently looking to hire a professional Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver (inc. Shunting) .

** We will consider applications from Drivers with at least 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience **
Preferred Experience:
* Curtainside Trailers
* Paper Reels & Cardboard Packaging
* Ratchet Strapping
** You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card) **
Role involves:
* Nights: Monday to Friday (17:00 – 05:00)
* This role involves a combination of driving and shunting as per business needs.
* Ensuring speedy swapping of loaded with empty trailers
* Shunting between two sites
* Strapping loads
* Reporting any issues with loads to team leaders and ensuring remedial action is taken
* Deliveries to either Markham or Snodland as required, (including reloads)
* Local stock deliveries and collections from a local pallet yard
* Being available by telephone (when on duty) for drivers to call for advice regarding work related issues.
* Carry out training in the safe loading and coupling of trailers as well as the shunting of trailers
Estimated Gross Annual Earnings:
* Mon to Fri Night Driver (incl. Shunting): £49,595 + Bonus (see below)
Bonus:
* SAFED Fuel Bonus (when driving)
