We’re looking for a high–performing Senior Underwriter with deep expertise in Property and Casualty to lead complex deals, strengthen broker partnerships and make a visible impact from our Birmingham office. About You
As our Senior P&C Underwriter, you will:
* Take ownership of major deals, using your expertise to win and retain strategic accounts that drive growth.
* Develop trusted partnerships with brokers, leveraging collaboration to unlock new opportunities and strengthen market presence.
* Represent the business confidently through face‑to‑face engagement, networking, and active participation in industry events.
* Support team development by guiding peers, reviewing referrals, and ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality service.
* Work closely with internal departments to streamline processes and deliver seamless, client‑focused solutions.
* Act as a reliable point of contact for priority clients, anticipating needs and delivering tailored, responsive support.
Essential Skills
* Proven expertise in underwriting complex Property and Casualty risks.
* Track record of dealing with large and/or complex risks and cases.
* Proven ability to manage broker relationships that fuel growth and long‑term retention.
